Xavi anunciará el jueves oficialmente que se va del Barça

Xavi Hernández will hold a press conference on Thursday in which he will announce officially that he is to leave his lifelong club, FC Barcelona, and is going to Qatar. Considered by many to be the greatest Spanish footballer ever, Xavi will put an end to an illustrious career at his boyhood club in order to finish his sporting career in the booming football scene in the Arab world. There he is sought after as a reference point for the coming years, both as a player and as a coach with a view to the 2022 World Cup. The Azulgrana captain will thus follow in the footsteps of Raúl, the ‘eternal captain’ of Real Madrid, and will play for Al Sadd. It is also possible that he will live in the same house that the former Blanco number ‘7’ lived in.
