Sergio Ramos spoke to the media after Real Madrid’s draw at the La Rosaleda stadium and was quite blunt in what he had to say: «One more slip-up and it’s over, the league title race will be finished. We’ll try not to let it happen again. Until such time as there is mathematically a champion, we will keep on fighting.»
Sergio Ramos knows from his own experience how to overcome situations such as the preesent one: «I’ve been at Real Madrid for many years now, and I’ve been in situations that were both better and worse than this one. We have been in Barça’s position and ended up losing the title, and the reverse has also happened. We have to keep on hoping, but we cannot afford to drop any more points along the way if we want to challenge for the title.»
Before getting on the team bus, Ramos sent a message to Real Madrid fans: «I like it that they jump aboard in the good times, but I also want them to be on board in the bad ones.»
