Messi, Luis Suárez and Neymar form the three-pronged attack that, together, have played most minutes of any club in Europe this season. The MSN so far tally no fewer than 8,093 minutes of playing time. The current league leading scorer, , Luis Suárez, is the one who has played most of the three, with the by no means shabby total of 3,120 minutes. Neymar has been on the pitch for 2,604 minutes (over 29 games), while Messi totals 2,360 (over 24).

These figures are high, above all when compared with the 5,482 minutes that the three members of the BBC have played, putting them in seventh position in the ranking drawn up by ‘Sport‘. Cristiano Ronaldo is, by a long way, the Madrid forward who has played most minutes, with 2,610 to his credit. Benzema totals 1,608 and Bale, the most injury-prone of the three, reaches 1,264.

Chelsea’s forward line are in second place. Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Willian total 7,258 minutos between them, and Willian has played in 35 matches. Following them are Manchester City’s front three, De Bruyne, Agüero and Sterling, who have accumulated 6,919 minutes.

Next in the table are the PSG trio, Cavani, Ibrahimovic and Di María, with 6,733, and the Arsenal three, Alexis, Giroud and Walcott are just behind them. Bayern Munich’s, Lewandowski, Douglas Costa and Robben have 5,657 minutes of playing time in their legs, even though Robben only reaches 1,061 owing to his injuries.
